　このたびの個展にあたり、2025年2月17日に永眠されたムジュンさんへ、心より哀悼の意を表します。
　ムジュンさんと出会ったのは2021年3月、わだしが陶芸作家として生きていくことを決意し、サラリーマンを辞めた頃でした。わだしのことをすごく気にかけ、さまざまな世界に連れていって見せてくれる、とてもパワフルな方でした。特に、人と人との繋がりの面白さや大切さを教えていただいたことは、今も大きな財産となっています。
　今回展示させていただける「ウーニーポンポンカウカウ」のマスター稲葉さんとも、ムジュンさんのご縁で出会うことができました。
　本展では、「可愛い」けれど「気持ち悪い」という矛盾する感情を混ぜ合うことでより複雑で面白い感情になってほしいなと思っています。
