Exhibition statement:
Different Light 別の光 aims to present artworks in an unconventional art space where people actually go to view art after dark – a space that is not only artist-run, but also has a deep connection to the local community with a faithful art-loving audience. As a group show, we are looking at the idea of avant-gardism and experimentalism again. And looking back to the roots on how our art training, fundamental research and practices are presented to an audience.

大阪の堂山という特殊な繁華街にあるウーニーポンポンカウカウというこれまたちょっと特殊な空間（・・・と彼らは感じたようです。オーナー自身は普通のバーと自身の活動拠点としてのアートプロジェクトスペース＆ギャラリーという認識なんですが・・・）を気に入ったシンガポールのアーティストが企画した展覧会を開催します。　この展覧会は彼らの受けた美術教育や基礎研究とその実践に立ち返り、観客との関連性の中で、彼らの作品の前衛主義と実験性を提示するものとなるでしょう。
